Free Community Voices talk by activist Pam McMichael

Noted activist and organizer Pam McMichael, the director of the Highlander Research and Education Center, will give a free, hourlong talk as part of the Community Voices series. The Tennessee-based Highlander Center serves as a catalyst for grass-roots organizing and movement-building in Appalachia and the South. It trained Rosa Parks prior to her role in the Montgomery Bus Boycott and has provided training for many other movement activists.
