At the age of 13 young Kenneth Eric Church bought himself a guitar and started writing songs. By high school he was performing regularly at a local bar, mixing his original songs in with his regular sets. Since then it seemed inevitable that such a talented young musician would find his way to success.
After a sting in college, and after earning a degree in marketing, Eric Church moved to Nashville with hopes of making it big. His early work as a songwriter produced Terri Clark's 2004 single "the World Needs a Drink" and in 2006 Church signed on with Capitol Records and produced his debut Album "Sinners Like Me". As a debut album Sinners was a smash hit, with his first three singles from the album all reaching the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country chart, and his fourth single hitting #51.
In 2008 Church released his first top 10 single with "Love Your Love the Most". Fresh of the heels of this singles success Church released his second album "Carolina" in March of 2009.
