The Salem Museum Speaker Series

Salem author Peggy Shifflett will speak on her new book about growing up in Appalachia "On the Way to Toe Town." Peggy's popular series of memoirs explores her roots growing up in the Appalachian town of Hopkins Gap, VA, with recollections of the folklore, superstitions, material culture, and colorful characters of her past.
